Bev[erley] Bevan

Bev Bevan is an English drummer and music producer, best known for his work in the rock and pop genres. Born on November 25, 1946, in Birmingham, England, he gained prominence as a founding member of the Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) in 1970. Bevan's drumming style contributed significantly to the band's unique fusion of rock and orchestral music, characterized by rich string arrangements and innovative production techniques. Notable works during his tenure with ELO include hits like "Mr. Blue Sky," "Evil Woman," and "Livin' Thing," which helped define the sound of the 1970s and 1980s.
